A radon ventilation system requires a device designed for that specific purpose. VILPE EC110P/500 FLOW is a roof fan with an EC motor, specified by the manufacturer for radon ventilation and eco-toilets. It is not intended for general ventilation of indoor air. Its selection should form part of a design that specifies how air is collected and discharged outside the building.

The model has a Ø 110 mm duct connection and stands approximately 500 mm above the roof. It can be controlled by a 0–10 V signal using a compatible controller or automation system. The manufacturer equips the device with an external service switch. Installation also requires a VILPE roof pass-through suited to the roof covering, ordered as a separate system component.

Do not select the fan solely on the basis of its connection diameter or resemblance to other FLOW models. The installation design should specify the required operating point and control method. Can it be used for kitchen extraction?

The manufacturer explicitly excludes general ventilation of indoor air. For a kitchen, select a model intended for that application.

Does the device include a roof pass-through?

The pass-through is selected separately to suit the roof covering. Include both components in your enquiry.

Does this model solve every radon problem on its own?

That cannot be guaranteed. The fan is one component of a designed system whose performance must be assessed for the specific building.
