Visit statistics
We keep statistics of visits to our website on our own server. We record the pages visited, viewing time, scroll depth, traffic source (e.g. a search engine, a campaign link with UTM parameters, Facebook), device and browser type, and clicks on contact buttons. We do not store IP addresses. The number of visitors on a given day is determined from a hash whose key changes every day, so it cannot be used to identify a person or track them across days.
The ambit_cid cookie
If you consent to the “Statistics” category in the cookie settings, we will store an ambit_cid cookie with a random identifier in your browser, valid for 13 months. It is used only to recognise that the same browser has visited the website again (returning-visitor statistics). The identifier contains no personal data, is not linked to form data and is not shared with third parties. You can withdraw your consent at any time in “Cookie settings” in the website footer – the cookie will then be deleted.
Retention period
Statistical data are kept for 400 days and then deleted. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest (analysing and improving the website) and, for the ambit_cid cookie, your consent.
