Concrete roof tile
Cement roof tiles offer an attractive, cheaper alternative to clay tiles. They are designed for roof pitches from 22° to 65° on residential, utility, religious and classically styled buildings. Their good looks come from being coloured throughout during manufacturing and additionally painted. Various shapes and colours are available. We recommend them to anyone looking for a classic red roof. We offer cement roof tiles from manufacturers such as swissporTON and Braas.

What is a cement roof tile?
These are roof tiles made from coloured cement material and then finished with acrylic paint. Visually, they differ little from clay roof tiles. You can choose from various cement tile models, including interlocking S-profile and Marseille tiles, and flat plain tiles. Complementary components such as ridge, eaves, verge and ventilation tiles are similar too. They are installed in the same way as clay roof tiles.
Cement roof tiles are made from quartz sand, water and cement. Most concrete products manufactured today are coloured throughout and additionally painted 2 or 3 times with acrylic paint. Natural, water-insoluble pigments resistant to temperature and sunlight are used for colouring. Customers can choose from various colours and matt, semi-matt or gloss finishes.
Where are cement roof tiles used, and what are their advantages?
Cement roof tiles are used on roofs with pitches from 22° to 65°. They suit private homes, public buildings, historic properties and churches. Importantly, this type of tile is considerably cheaper than clay tiles without compromising on appearance. Cement system tiles are cheaper too, as manufacturing does not involve the same costs as clay tiles. We can therefore recommend cement roofing to anyone dreaming of a traditional home with a red roof.
What else makes cement roof tiles worth choosing? They are heavy, durable, frost-resistant and non-combustible, and they insulate against noise better than lightweight coverings. Choosing our products guarantees long-term protection for the building. The tiles are made from the highest-quality raw materials using modern production methods.
Our tiles have an acrylic coating that increases their resistance to frost, moss growth and lime efflorescence. The paint also provides an even colour, a smoother surface and resistance to dirt. In terms of mechanical strength and water absorption, cement roof tiles match clay tiles. They are durable and highly resistant to alkaline compounds and changing weather conditions.
Our range includes:
- single S-profile tiles – small-format and relatively light, with a wave that softens the roof's appearance,
- double S-profile tiles – an asymmetrical wave shape for a traditional roof appearance with a characteristic interplay of light and shadow,
- double Roman tiles – a classic shape with two profiles and a wide range of uses, the most economical and efficient of the clay products,
- taunus – a type similar to the Roman model, with balanced proportions between the profile and the tile's flat area,
- old German tiles – a distinctive shape ideal for historic buildings,
- plain tiles – flat with a straight or oval lower edge and 2 laying patterns: scale or crown.
