Fakro LDK two-section loft ladder

The LDK loft ladder has two sections, with a sliding lower section. It is made from top-quality pine. Its construction is similar to the LWK Komfort model, but the way the ladder sections fold away is fundamentally different. A specially developed mechanism lets the sections slide past each other, eliminating the swing clearance needed to unfold three-section and four-section ladders.

This design also allows the LDK ladder to be fitted in rooms where conventional folding sections cannot be used, or recessed into the ceiling. The model has two parts: an upper assembly comprising the ladder casing, insulated hatch, handrail and base section, and a lower sliding section. A red metal handrail, fitted to the ladder's angle brackets, is supplied as standard to make climbing easier. The LDK loft ladder has non-slip treads, and its exceptionally straightforward installation system is another advantage.
