Eurostyr Flex CP3 EPS boards are manufactured by foaming polystyrene. They are used to insulate floor structures against impact sound in floating floor systems. A floating floor is the best solution for meeting the acoustic insulation requirements for intermediate floor structures. However, these boards may only be used in rooms where the maximum permissible imposed load on the levelling layer does not exceed 400 kg/m2 (4 kPa). Like all EPS boards, they must not come into direct contact with substances that react with EPS, such as organic solvents, tar or oils. Store and transport them in packs, protecting them against damage and direct exposure to the weather.
