Porotherm supplementary hollow blocks – details that make a difference

Supplementary system blocks are key pieces of the puzzle that make walls stable, attractive and easy to build. The Porotherm range includes:

corner hollow blocks – ideal for maintaining the masonry bond at building corners,
R hollow blocks (3/4) – the same height as standard blocks but narrower, used at corners and for finishing,
3 × 1/3 hollow blocks – allowing a full block to be divided into parts (⅓, ⅔), useful around window reveals and window sill areas,
ventilation hollow blocks – providing ventilation ducts in walls without the need for separate pipes or materials.

Why use Porotherm supplementary hollow blocks?
✔ They maintain system consistency – they fit standard components,
✔ They make blockwork easier – they minimise cutting and errors,
✔ They improve the appearance – details are neat and precise,
✔ They help with correct installation of windows, doors and finishes by providing an even surface for reveals and window sills.

Well-chosen additional components make for a sound wall and faster work. Tell us what you are building and we will help you choose the right supplementary components for your project.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
