Würth

Würth – bitumen sealant for roofing felt and joints, 310 ml

Write the first review

AMBIT offers Würth bitumen sealant in a 310 ml cartridge, a black bitumen-based compound for durable sealing of joints between bituminous strips. The manufacturer highlights its excellent adhesion to bituminous membranes and roofing felt and its effective sealing of roof coverings.

The compound is used for filling roofing felt joints and sealing roof penetrations such as rooflight domes, ventilation ducts, aerials and chimneys, as well as edge connections. It adheres well to damp substrates, its use is largely unaffected by weather, and it is useful for emergency repairs. The substrate should be sound, clean, dry and free from grease, rust and water; Würth recommends a primer on absorbent substrates.

After repairs in damp conditions, the manufacturer recommends checking the seal once dry and advises against painting with solvent-based paints. Ask us about available packaging and the right compound for your roofing felt.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
