Tikkurila Rubber – flexible paint for bituminous roofs
AMBIT offers Tikkurila Rubber from the Master Solution range, a waterborne matt roof paint that forms a highly flexible coating. The manufacturer particularly recommends it for renovating old roof coverings: bituminous shingles and roofing felt, as well as Eternit sheets and concrete roof tiles after priming with Tikkurila Eternit Primer. The paint is not suitable for clay roof tiles or natural slate.
The coating is durable and resistant to sunlight and weathering. First wash the roof thoroughly with a pressure washer, then apply two coats by brush, roller or airless spray. The next coat can be applied after approx. 4 hours (20°C, 65% RH), and the roof surface temperature should be between 8 and 30°C.
This is a professional product for contractors renovating bituminous and fibre-cement roofs. The manufacturer offers ready-mixed colours and tinting bases. Ask us about available options and pack sizes.
