Tikkurila Professional
Tikkurila HydroBlock WB – water repellent for roof tiles
AMBIT offers Tikkurila HydroBlock WB, a transparent, water-based water-repellent treatment included in Tikkurila's Master Solution system for protecting roofs and external building surfaces. The manufacturer lists roof tiles, façades and paving blocks among its typical applications. The product is intended for most mineral substrates, such as concrete, brick and render.
The treatment penetrates the substrate and reacts with it chemically without forming a surface film. It reduces capillary penetration of rainwater, salt migration and the growth of algae and green deposits, while allowing water vapour to escape from the structure. The product is ready to use and is applied wet-on-wet, preferably with a sprayer, in 1–2 coats onto a clean, dry and absorbent surface.
It is an option for contractors looking to protect mineral roof coverings with a colourless treatment. Ask us about available pack sizes.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
