Looking for an adhesive for metal flashings? At AMBIT, we can help you choose a product to suit the metal and substrate. Enke Enkolit is a permanently plastic bituminous adhesive for cold bonding sheet metal, used on parapets, cornices and window sills, among other applications. It bonds properly prepared substrates to common roofing metals such as titanium zinc, copper, aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised sheet metal.

The adhesive layer helps reduce rain noise and protects the underside of the metal from moisture. Substrate preparation, any priming required and application of the adhesive must suit the intended use and follow Enke's instructions. Where required, provide additional mechanical restraint to prevent slippage. The product is not intended for bonding roofing membranes or thermal insulation materials.
