Schiedel Quadro

Quadro is a combined air/flue gas chimney system. An air duct integrated with the chimney installation supplies outside combustion air to the appliance. Quadro allows connected combustion appliances to operate independently of room air. This eliminates combustion problems caused by airtight windows. The system was approved by the Instytut Górnictwa Naftowego i Gazownictwa in Kraków.

The Quadro chimney system is made from ceramic fired at 1200°C, with a density of 2100 kg/m3 and a compressive strength of 25 MPa. The inner sections are joined with a special acid-resistant jointing compound. They have a smooth surface and resist high temperatures and corrosive substances. Key features include suitability for boilers with sealed combustion chambers and a minimum flue gas temperature of 80°C. The entire system resists high temperatures and soot fires. Quadro is straightforward to install and saves energy in use. There are many connection options. Its space-efficient shapes also help preserve usable living space. Quadro has additional structural reinforcement, small, lightweight outer hollow blocks and a chimney cap integrated with a high-quality ceramic pipe. It meets all requirements for fire safety, thermal transmittance and noise protection. Our range includes models in 7 cross-sections (from 14 to 30 cm).

Applications: gas-fired appliances with sealed combustion chambers

• inner pipe made from high-grade ceramic
• outer hollow block allowing the chimney to be bolted together
• spacer ring
