Presto Duo

Duo is a chimney for solid fuels, for use where flue gas temperatures exceed 200°C. At these temperatures, moisture does not condense in the flue. This system also includes a condensate drain fitting and ventilation of the space between the pipe and the hollow block. These features ensure trouble-free operation even if fuel occasionally has a higher moisture content than recommended for stoves, fireplace inserts and solid-fuel boilers (wood and coal). The permitted flue gas temperature range is 200-450°C. Duo resists high temperatures and soot fires (up to 1000°C). It can operate under negative pressure. The flue section is separated from the structural casing. Made from fireclay, the inner pipes resist building-material corrosion. The ventilation system is highly practical, and the overall construction is lightweight and space-saving. Duo is quick and easy to install and should be located inside the building. It can also be used with a variety of chimney cowls. However, the distance between the chimney's outer surface and combustible elements must be at least 50 mm.
