Chimney systems
Presto SPS
SPS Presto is a chimney for gas boilers with sealed combustion chambers. It simultaneously removes flue gases and supplies combustion air to the appliance through a concentric air inlet duct integrated with the entire chimney installation. This design solves problems with combustion air supply in new buildings with airtight windows. It is therefore a combined air/flue gas chimney, forming a shared flue to which heating appliances on individual floors of the building can be connected. SPS is designed to carry flue gases from gas-fired heating appliances with sealed combustion chambers, where the temperature in the flue does not exceed 200°C (low-temperature appliances).
SPS Presto has a layered construction assembled from mass-produced, prefabricated components precisely matched to one another. The individual fireclay elements are joined with tongue-and-groove joints filled with acid-resistant jointing compound. A typical fireclay chimney liner consists of pipes (33 cm), a cleaning tee (66 cm), flue gas connections bonded to the pipes during installation and a condensate drain fitting. Steel spacers are fitted between the hollow blocks and pipes at intervals of 1 m. They provide secure yet flexible fixing and centre the fireclay pipes within the blocks. All this makes SPS quick and easy to install.
SPS Presto also resists high temperatures, soot fires, moisture and acids. Its inner pipes are made from fireclay with high resistance to building-material corrosion. A major advantage is that SPS enables decentralised heating with individual billing based on gas consumption. Up to 10 boilers of different outputs can be connected, each rated at a maximum of 30 kW, with up to 4 boilers on a single floor. SPS also provides exceptional freedom in appliance positioning, from design through to installation, and allows boilers to be fitted even in very tight recesses and corners. This increases usable living space and reduces construction costs. Installing SPS also saves energy by warming the incoming air with the outgoing flue gases, increasing chimney efficiency by approx. 2%.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
