Roofs with a history. Restoration that takes experience
A historic building, a major public project or an exceptionally large roof? AMBIT helps you select materials, plan deliveries and coordinate a demanding project. Explore our work and speak to Piotr Budrewicz, who has supervised works at St Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk, Pelplin Cathedral and Malbork Castle, among other sites.
Restoring a historic roof starts with understanding the building: its structure, history and distinctive details. Material selection, delivery planning and cooperation on site must reflect the building’s specific needs and the project requirements.
At AMBIT, we support clients and contractors with historic building restoration and roofing projects of exceptional scale. We combine materials advice with experience in managing and coordinating demanding projects.
Respect for history. Attention to detail
In historic architecture, the shape and colour of roof tiles, flashings, drainage and the fit with the existing building all matter. These decisions help preserve its character and support its continued use.
We help select materials to match the project documentation and its conservation requirements. We work with the client, designer and contractors to achieve a technically and visually coherent result.
Materials and deliveries planned around the work
A demanding project needs careful preparation and clear communication at every stage, particularly when work is phased, details are unusual or materials must be made to order.
We help assemble material orders and plan deliveries around the construction schedule. We clarify product availability, ordering lead times and the suitability of specific solutions, giving clients and contractors the information they need to make decisions.
Experience you can see in our projects
Our reference projects include churches, a castle, historic urban buildings and buildings belonging to Gdańsk University of Technology. Each called for attention to the building’s character and the quality of the solutions used.
