St Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk

St Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk – historic roof project

We are proud to announce that we supplied materials for the roof of the largest brick church in the world – St Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk. This is the first renovation of the roof of this Gothic church since 1949 . The task required precision and exceptional materials – so the roof was covered with specially manufactured roof tiles: Wienerberger Koramic Klasztorna E28, which are not available for regular retail sale. The roof received exactly 96 949 individual roof tiles - each one of them prepared with the aim of preserving the character and majesty of this exceptional place.
