Czyste Powietrze programme

You can receive funding if you plan to: - replace windows or doors with energy-efficient ones,
- improve your home’s energy performance or insulate it,
- replace the furnace and central heating system,
- install solar panels,
- install a heat pump.

The programme is intended for individuals who own or jointly own a single-family house, or who have permission to start construction.

The Czyste Powietrze priority programme aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions of particulate matter and other pollutants into the atmosphere from existing single-family homes, or prevent air pollution emissions from newly built single-family homes. The programme focuses on replacing old solid-fuel furnaces and boilers and improving the energy performance of single-family homes to manage energy effectively. These measures will not only help protect the environment but also leave more money in the household budget through the savings made. The programme will run in 2018-2029.

The Czyste Powietrze programme can reimburse part of the costs incurred. The maximum eligible cost on which the grant is calculated is 53 thousand zlotys. The minimum project cost eligible for funding is 7 thousand zlotys. The Czyste Powietrze programme provides funding for, among other things:

• replacing old heat sources (solid-fuel furnaces and boilers)
• purchasing and installing new heat sources that meet the programme’s requirements
• adding insulation to the building envelope
• replacing windows and doors
• installing or upgrading central heating and domestic hot water systems; installing renewable energy sources (solar collectors and domestic hot water)
• installing mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

Applications are accepted and assessed by the regional funds for environmental protection and water management. The office responsible for the Pomorskie region is:

Applications can be submitted electronically to the regional funds for environmental protection and water management through the beneficiary portal https://portalbeneficjenta.wfos.gdansk.pl/ The first step is to create and activate an account.

Funding ranges from 30 to 90% of eligible investment costs and depends on household income per person.

The Czyste Powietrze programme and the tax relief for energy efficiency improvements are two financial support measures aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions of particulate matter and other pollutants into the atmosphere.
