Roof access windows for habitable rooms
Roto WSZ Designo R8 roof access window
Roto WSA Designo R8 is a safety roof access window based on Designo top-hung, high-pivot window technology. Its key features include a recessed installation, a WD thermal insulation block as standard and metallic anthracite external flashing. The set also includes two pneumatic actuators for quick, easy opening to provide an immediate escape route. A further advantage is the pivot axis at the top, giving the user maximum headroom. The Roto WSA Designo R8 access window is operated with a single handle. It has 4 locking points, a secure lock in the cleaning position and a mains plug connection. Post-installation adjustment allows distortion caused by movement in the roof structure to be corrected. The window is exceptionally convenient to use: its pivot axis allows the sash to move outwards as it opens. The Roto WSA Designo R8 comes with insulating glazing as standard, protecting against overheating in hot weather and heat loss in winter. The access windows are suitable for roof pitches of 20-65. They come in two sizes and three glazing options, with timber or PVC frames. The opening angle is 60 degrees.
Applications: on roofs with pitches of 20-65 degrees
Glazing options:- Roto blueLine (standard)
- Roto blueLine Plus

Warranty: 15-year materials warranty covering hail damage to glazing on windows with a toughened outer pane, cracked hardware and cracked plastic frames
