Roof access windows for habitable rooms

Roto WDA Designo R3

Write the first review

The Designo R3 roof access window provides quick, practical access to the roof. Its sash opens to the left or right, as specified in the order, with the aid of an integrated pneumatic actuator. This model has insulating glazing, offering good protection against overheating on hot days and heat loss in freezing weather.

For improved insulation, we recommend choosing access windows fitted with WD thermal insulation blocks. The Roto Designo R3 roof access window is exceptionally practical and easy to use, with all functions controlled by a single handle. Further benefits include protection against accidental slamming, a choice of three glazing types, and external flashing in different materials and colours to suit individual needs. Access windows are available in 4 sizes in timber and 3 sizes in PVC. They are recommended for roof pitches from 15 to 85 degrees. This model has single-point locking and opens to 90 degrees.

Applications: roofs with pitches from 15 to 85 degrees, in heated residential rooms

Glazing options:
  • Roto blueLine (standard)
  • Roto blueLine Plus
  • Roto Ornament

Warranty: 15-year materials warranty covering hail damage to glazing on windows with a toughened outer pane, cracked hardware and cracked plastic frames

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
