Würth
Würth pias® – self-drilling A2 stainless steel roofing screw
AMBIT offers Würth pias® roofing screws: ASSY screws made from A2 stainless steel with a self-drilling point, washer and vulcanised EPDM seal. According to the manufacturer, they are intended for fixing aluminium sheet up to 2 mm thick to timber structures, for example aluminium roof coverings and flashing.
The pias® point centres, drills, taps and drives in one operation with little pressure, which Würth says reduces installation time. The screws have a diameter of 4,5 mm, an AW20 drive and a 15 or 20 mm washer. The manufacturer offers lengths of 25, 35 and 45 mm. Both screw and washer are uncoated stainless steel.
This is an option for roofers working with aluminium sheet who want to avoid pre-drilling. Ask us about available lengths and washer diameters; we will help you choose a screw for the sheet thickness and substrate.
