beko BT-Band – aluminium-backed bitumen sealing tape

AMBIT offers beko BT-Band, a self-adhesive bitumen sealing tape with a treated aluminium foil backing, supplied in 10 m rolls. The manufacturer recommends it for sealing gutters, roof and wall connections, glazed roofs, greenhouses and conservatories, roof coverings and eaves flashing, as well as bonding and sealing joints and cracks.

The tape reliably bonds and seals metal, concrete, plastics, masonry, render, wood and glass. It has strong adhesion and high mechanical strength, resists ageing and UV radiation, stays flexible and does not dry out. The substrate must be dry, clean and free of grease and silicone; absorbent substrates must be primed. After application, press the tape down firmly, avoiding air bubbles.
