The lower part of the sash acts as a top-hung window, while the upper part provides additional daylight. As the sash rotates from 0° to 45°, a modern assisted mechanism supports it and allows it to remain open at any position within that range. Both FYP-V U3 proSky and FDY-V U3 Duet proSky windows are made from vacuum-impregnated pine wood with two coats of acrylic varnish. They offer enhanced burglary resistance thanks to the topSafe system, which reinforces the window structure. FYP-V U3 proSky is intended for installation with flashing on roofs with pitches from 20° to 65°. FDY-V U3 Duet proSky has a lower glazing panel fitted with a V40P air inlet. This model has two sashes in one frame: an upper pivot-opening sash (the pivot axis is above the window’s mid-height, allowing even a tall person to approach the edge) and a fixed lower sash with safe laminated glazing. FDY-V removes the need to combine windows vertically, as it provides a larger daylight area. In both models, the V40P air inlet supplies the optimum amount of air to the room. The windows are operated using a handle at the bottom of the sash with two micro-opening positions. A bolt locks the sashes at 160°. FDY-V U3 Duet proSky windows are intended for installation with flashing on roofs with pitches from 25° to 65°. A full range of optional accessories is available. Applications: all loft rooms. Warranty: 10 years

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
