VELUX GPL windows have two opening modes, top-hung and centre-pivot, which completely transform the room. They provide plenty of daylight and can be opened outwards to 45 degrees. They are easy to open, offer ventilation and give the loft a feeling of space. They are made from laminated pine wood treated with preservative and varnish. The windows also use Thermo Technology construction, giving them excellent insulation performance.

As well as standard double glazing, top-hung and centre-pivot windows are available with a rain noise reduction package and laminated triple glazing.

GPL windows from the VELUX Premium roof window range

Premium windows have automatic control and elegant designs. They are also the most energy-efficient and comfortable roof windows in the range, as they offer all the advantages of Standard Plus windows.
These windows are factory-prepared for easy fitting of decorative and sun protection accessories using the Pick & Click system, as well as for fitting modern electrical controls.
What sets them apart? A rain noise reduction package, making them ideal for bedrooms and children's rooms.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
