Fakro: FAKRO SF_ – sun tunnels with a flexible light-transmitting tube
FAKRO SF_ – sun tunnels with a flexible light-transmitting tube
FAKRO sun tunnels in the SF_ range are modern light tunnels designed to bring daylight into rooms where a conventional roof window cannot be installed. They are ideal for bathrooms, dressing rooms, corridors, stairwells and spaces deeper inside the home. Daylight enters through the roof module, travels along a flexible tube and is evenly diffused at the room's ceiling.
The SF_ series has a flexible light-carrying tube with a standard length of approximately 2,1 m, making installation easier and allowing it to bypass structural obstacles beneath the roof. The complete set consists of a roof section with flashing, a flexible tube, a ceiling frame, a prismatic light diffuser and installation accessories.
SF_ variants – choosing for the roof covering and roof type
FAKRO distinguishes SF_ variants mainly by the type of covering or roof, allowing the sun tunnel to sit neatly and watertight on the roof slope:
SFS – for flat coverings such as roofing felt, bitumen shingles or low-profile standing seam metal roofing.
SFZ – for profiled coverings with a standard profile height, such as roof tiles or metal roof tiles.
SFH – for high-profile coverings, such as some wavy roof tiles.
SFL – for overlapping small-format or low-profile coverings, a less commonly used variant that is still available in the SF_ family.
SFF – a version for flat roofs with a dome, intended for flat roof structures with a slight pitch of approximately 0–15°. Based on a proven dome design, it provides good watertightness and durability on flat roofs. (
This lets you choose a sun tunnel precisely suited to the roof type, without installation compromises.
Why choose them?
More natural light in places that are usually dark.
A flexible tube makes installation easier and carries light even through challenging loft structures.
Even light diffusion – without sharply defined patches of light on the floor.
A choice of variants to suit different coverings and flat roofs.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative.
