In practice, this is one of the most interesting solutions for lofts with a high knee wall. Instead of a cramped space beneath the slope, you get a greater sense of space and a view more like that from a conventional window. BDR/BDL can be combined with different Fakro window series to create a visually coherent, watertight whole.

The difference between BDR and BDL is the opening method, side-hung or tilt, so we always choose the specific model to suit the room’s purpose and ease of use. At Ambit, we help select the size, combination layout and installation flashings so the whole arrangement works smoothly, stays watertight and looks good on the roof.

Key benefits:

noticeably more light reaching deeper into the loft,
a wider field of view, especially for taller people,
an impressive “L-shape” window arrangement, combining a roof window with a vertical window.

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
