Wallint® 3 eco is an active two-layer vapour control layer for lofts and walls. Its carefully selected SD value allows controlled water vapour transfer towards the thermal insulation, eliminating the common problem of excess moisture building up between plasterboard and the vapour control layer. It also releases moisture from new roof structures into the room, allowing timber to dry quickly and preventing rot and fungal growth. This removes the need for chemical timber treatments. A major benefit of Wallint®3 eco is the complete airtightness it provides for the building element. Its materials give it high tear resistance and make it exceptionally easy to install. Wallint® 3 is used on roofs where the roof membrane is laid directly over the rafters. The vapour control layer is fully recyclable, so it can be stored with household waste.
