swissporTON SunLACE – integrated photovoltaic system
Want to generate your own electricity without compromising the look of your home?
Many homeowners face a difficult choice. They want to cut their energy bills and make use of solar power, but they don't want a visible aluminium frame and panels on their new, carefully designed roof.
SunLACE from swissporTON solves this problem.
This is an integrated photovoltaic system that is not fitted on the roof, but becomes part of it. The modules replace part of the roof covering, creating an attractive, even surface that blends seamlessly with the roof slope. Your roof keeps its elegant appearance while generating electricity.
SunLACE – photovoltaics that become part of the roof
Why choose the SunLACE system?
The roof stays beautiful
The modules sit flush with the roof tiles and are colour-matched to the swissporTON covering. There are no typical projecting structures, so the photovoltaics look like part of the house design rather than a later addition.
One investment instead of two
The system replaces some roof tiles, so roof construction and photovoltaic installation take place at the same time. This means less work, a shorter completion time and less risk of errors caused by later intervention in the finished covering.
More energy for many years
SunLACE uses high-quality modules and modern microinverter or inverter systems to optimise energy yield. The manufacturer claims up to 12,5% higher energy production than traditional installations of the same capacity, and retention of around 90% performance after 30 years of operation.
Watertightness and safety
The specially designed substructure becomes an integral part of the roof slope. It provides proper module ventilation, durability and watertightness of the whole system. Corrosion-resistant aluminium flashings and solutions providing high resistance to hail, wind and changing weather conditions are also used.
A complete system instead of randomly selected components
SunLACE is more than photovoltaic panels.
It is a complete system comprising:
photovoltaic modules colour-matched to the roof tiles,
a dedicated substructure,
system aluminium flashings,
microinverters or inverters,
the option to add energy storage and an electric vehicle charger,
complete technical documentation and support with commissioning.
Will SunLACE suit your home?
The system was designed primarily for people who:
are building a new house,
plan to install a new roof covering,
expect an attractive appearance,
want to combine the roof and photovoltaics in a single, carefully planned investment,

How we check reviews: we publish reviews confirmed by their authors via a link sent to their email address, no later than 24 hours after confirmation (during this time we may check them). Reviews containing links or contact details, and all photos, are checked before publication. The ‘Verified purchase’ label appears only on reviews whose author sent us proof of purchase of this product and where we confirmed the purchase at Ambit or at another wholesaler. Other reviews are not checked for a purchase. The average includes all published reviews, verified and unverified. We do not pay for reviews and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We prepare translations of reviews ourselves and mark them; the original is always available. Details: Review terms.
