Galvanised gutters – advantages and disadvantages

One of the main benefits of this solution is its strength. Made from 0,6 mm thick steel, galvanised gutters resist changing weather conditions. The product also does not crack or deform, which has a significant effect on its service life. One disadvantage is that they require more frequent care than other solutions in this sector.

Galvanised gutter sizes

Several solutions are available to suit different uses, provide the components needed for a functional guttering system and match the gutter shape to aesthetic requirements. Half-round gutters are naturally the most popular, but half-elliptical versions are also available. Galvanised gutters can also be found in square, rectangular or square versions. Each of these solutions is highly effective at draining a roof.

Round galvanised gutters

As one of the most popular types of gutter, including galvanised guttering, this solution is versatile. This type of galvanised gutter works equally well on residential and other buildings. It is very easy to install and allows a functional guttering system to be created.

Square galvanised gutters

This type of gutter is relatively less common, but offers the same functionality as round solutions. It complements modern, austere and minimalist architecture based on simple forms.
