Ambit statistics (our own server) Ambit statistics (our own server)
On the Ambit server, without the IP address: pages visited, the page you came from, campaign parameters (utm), time on page and scroll depth, and clicks on phone, e-mail and forms. The ambit_cid cookie (random identifier, 13 months) lets us count returning visits. We store the data for 400 days.
Maybe it is worth it after all? Without this consent we cannot tell which information customers look for but do not find. With it, we know what to simplify so that you and future customers get answers faster.
Page errors (our own server) Page errors (our own server)
When something on the site does not work: the error message, the code file and line, the page address and the browser and device type. Without data entered in forms and without the IP address. Helps us fix faults quickly.
Please consider giving this consent. If a form or button stops working, without this consent we may never find out, and the next person will hit the same error. With it, we fix faults before they cost anyone time.
Page performance (our own server) Page performance (our own server)
How fast the site loads and responds (Core Web Vitals metrics: content display, layout stability and response to a click) and screen width. Without the IP address. Helps us make the site faster.
We recommend switching this on. Without this consent we cannot see on which phones and connections the site loads too slowly. With it, we speed it up where customers wait longest, including on weak signal at a building site.
Rage clicks (our own server) Rage clicks (our own server)
When you click the same spot several times in quick succession: a description of the clicked element (e.g. the button name) and the page address. Without entered values and without the IP address. Helps us find places that do not work as you expect.
Please leave this on. Several quick clicks in the same spot usually mean something is not responding. Without this consent such spots go unnoticed and keep frustrating future customers; with it, we fix them quickly.
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.)
The _ga and _ga_… cookies (up to 2 years): pages visited, traffic source, approximate location (country, city – determined from the IP address, which Google Analytics does not store), device type, operating system and browser, and events on the site, e.g. a phone click or form submission.
We recommend this consent. Without this consent we do not know how customers find us or which guides they read most. With it, we write more of what really helps people choose a roof, so you and others find the right advice more easily.
